We were seated & order immediately and the food came out pretty quick. - Egg flower soup: decent with good amount of egg & tofu bits but it was lack of any flavor. - Hot & sour soup: good - not too sour and enough spiciness but good amount of filling (mushroom, egg, tofu) - Sesame chicken lunch combo (with egg roll & fried rice): the fried rice was decent (nothing special). The sesame chicken pieces were crispy yet the meat was juicy. The sesame sauce was okay (sweet & savory). The egg roll was crunchy and the filling was good. - Chicken with garlic sauce lunch combo (with egg roll & fried rice): the fried rice was decent. The chicken with garlic sauce was just ok (the meat was juicy and the vegetables still had crunch) but the sauce was just meh. Overall, the food was 3.5 stars. ”
“ Picked up takeout from Granite Bay Chinese Restaurant and took it home. It turned out to be a pleasingly tasty meal. We ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Snow Peas with Beef, and the House Special Fried Rice. The food held up well despite the time taken to drive home. The Snow Peas with Beef was particularly good. Tender slices of beef, slightly crunchy snow peas (not over cooked) and flavorful fried rice. In my opinion better than the average Chinese restaurant meal in the area ...... for the money. Competitively priced and fast friendly service. ”
